We’re going to make a breakfast item that is my all-time favorite called breakfast potatoes. This is one of those recipes you make on weekends when you have a little time on your hands to actually prop the beautiful ingredients. I am going to teach you the easiest way to cook potatoes. The best thing about breakfast potatoes is that you can use whatever potato you have and peel them off and put them in ice-cold water this will help them from turning black and oxidizing. Ingredients for Potatoes cooking:
- 4-5 russet potatoes
- 4-6 strips of beef bacon
- 1/2 white onion
- 4-6 cloves of garlic
- 1 Serrano pepper
- 2 Tbsp of butter
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce Bundle of cilantro
- 2 tsp chipotle chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- Salt to taste
- Finish with chives
Pair the potatoes with some white onion. The size of the onion pieces are going to be half the size of potatoes. Cut the onion in that way you get one centimeter cubic approx. This will be the great opportunity to add any leftover vegetables that you like and you can easily toss them in but make sure you like the vegetables so, it’s not ruining the flavor of potato. It will definitely make your potatoes best in taste.
Probably the most important thing to pair with the potatoes is garlic. Take 4-6 cloves of garlic and slice them in half and these are going to cook through so, it’s fine if they’re little bit larger in size. Elevate the potatoes by adding a serrano where heat is very important in this recipe. You could either use a jalapeno or any vegetable that you prefer. You wouldn’t consider this just a garnish also you can add a decent amount to add to the potatoes because it adds so much lovely flavor or if you do not like the cilantro you could easily use parsley. Take the potatoes that were soaking in the cold water. Cut the potatoes in nice and small dcied cubes because you’re not gonna be boiling the potatoes then adding to the pan. Make sure the potatoes are of the same size where they can fully cook and get crispy on the outside. You can also pre-boil the potatoes before moving to next step. Potatoes still have some residual moisture that we do not want when we cook the potatoes so, take a paper towel and drop all the potatoes and spread them. In this way, potatoes will have almost no moisture before cooking so, they’ll get more crispy.
You will not to be adding oil to the pan instead you have strips of beef bacon. Put these strips of beef to the pan without burning the bacon so, you could already see it kind of getting glossy now turn on the heat to a medium and just let it render and add some oil in it. We will let that fat to be heating to cook the potatoes and to flavor the rest of the recipe.Take the beef on paper towel you’re going to toss on the ready pieces and let them chill.

You ‘re done cooking now it’s time to chop up your beef bacon. First crush the beef bacon and add gently into the pan with potatoes and put on medium heat for two minutes and you can also put some cheese on it if you want to.
